Cumo Mori Roversi Architetti
“Cumo Mori Roversi Architetti” is a partnership established by Giulio Cumo, Massimo Mori and Silvia Cumo, and currently directed by Alessandro Mori and Rossella Roversi.
The studio’s activities include restorations, new buildings, often for specialised applications, reconstructions and the design of interiors and furnishings; its projects are stringently controlled throughout, with rigorous general project management and supervision of all trades in multidisciplinary settings, ample use of innovative technologies and attention to every detail of the construction and architectural aspects of the job, also in heritage projects.
The partners’ diverse experience, rooted in their academic activity, is exemplified in their work on projects in which innovation, commitment and the use of traditional construction techniques and technologies is key to the end result. Their research and development in design are now proving especially valuable in their work on high energy efficiency buildings and the development of restoration techniques.
Recent projects include the restoration and expansion of the bell tower of the former Cathedral of Santa Colomba, which won the tender competition for young architects and was exhibited at the Milan Architecture Triennale 2011, their design for the head offices of Banca Malatestiana, and the scientific restoration of Palazzo Agolanti-Pedrocca, including its section of the ancient Roman city wall, at Rimini.
