Archisbang

An emerging firm from Turin, Archisbang focuses on the architectural design of brand-new buildings, renovations, extensions and interior design, with the aim of combining conceptual strength with concrete construction.

Regardless of the size of the intervention, each project is the result of research conducted on the interaction between context, building regulatory constraints and the customer’s expectations on one hand, and the interpretation of living space on the other.
The initial conceptual hypothesis results in an in-depth work on spatial distribution and a meticulous study of details, accompanied by painstaking care for the construction aspects of the work.

Archisbang takes care of design right from the conceptual, distributive and compositional study through to the actual completion of the work. The approach entails an initial stage of interpretative analysis of the programme and context to define the needs of the project in a fruitful dialectic exchange with the customer. Once the guidelines have thus been set out, what we might call “the question”, the Studio proceeds by elaborating the concept as a strong and concise “answer” to the issues at stake. The concept becomes the organisational principle behind all the subsequent choices that lead from the more detailed definition of the project to the implementing solutions and the completion of the work. The studio monitors the project step by step in all its phases, providing constant consulting for the customer who thanks to systematic presentation meetings is constantly updated as to the developments under way and accompanied in the choice of finishes and furniture.

Archisbang manages the drafting of construction paperwork and contacts with public administration bodies in-house, placing particular emphasis on executive design alongside a dedicated project management, while relying on a network of trusted professionals with regard to the technical and engineering aspects of the project (facilities, systems, energy performance, etc.): this enables the studio to have full control of the project and to provide a comprehensive package of services, which, at local level, may also include, at the discretion of the customer, the physical execution of the work with the use of its reference building companies.

The interior study includes the executive design of customised furniture, as well as dedicated interior furnishings, made with the aid of a selected network of qualified craftsmen.
