Magnifico
Overview
A revolutionary counter-frame with passive magnetic levitation.
Zero initial inertia. No friction or wear. Slow opening and closing. Movements that can be performed with maximum lightness and total absence of noise, for perfect internal comfort. Magnifico represents a revolution in the world of sliding opening systems because it uses magnetic levitation to drive the door’s movements that are thus not only accompanied but managed in total fluidity.
The technology behind the revolutionary innovation launched by Scrigno is IronLev, mediated by the transport sector.
The system consists of special magnets inserted in the trolleys that, when generating an attraction on the central support of the sliding system, support the door, both in a static condition (i.e. from a standstill) and during movement. Magnetic levitation does not require energy consumption, it is totally passive and acts to reduce the friction of the components and, consequently, the noise of the sliding action. The result is a feeling of lightness and comfort for everyday use. Suffice it to say that if normally for the opening of a sliding door an applied force of 1.2 kilos is necessary, with Magnifico 200 grams are enough.
The absence of friction also guarantees the durability of the solution, compared to more traditional ones. The solution mounts slow opening and closing as standard and is available in assorted sizes and heights, both for plaster and plasterboard walls.
Accessories include raw jambs, in melamine or aluminium for the glass version, a hardware kit for glass doors with jambs and a pliers kit.
