Acustica with jambs
Overview
Sound-insulating sliding door
The sound insulation performance of the Acustica solution with jambs is obtained with the combination of: counter-frame, soundproofing jamb,
soundproofing hardware kit and door, wire cover kit and locking handle.
The reference counter-frame is Maestro. A single door for 100 and 125 mm plasterboard walls.
The system uses a technology that allows the door’s perimeter to be sealed. Draught guards are provided on the panel’s lower and upper part, vertically sealed on the front, with a seal and bump on the back.
To ensure the correct operating pressure of the seals,
magnets contribute to the door’s closing, keeping it attached to the door jamb.
The product has been tested according to the UNI EN ISO 10140-2: 2010 and UNI EN ISO 717-1:2013 standards, which regulate, respectively,
the measurement and evaluation in the laboratory of the sound insulation of buildings and their elements.
The test was carried out on 100 mm and 125 mm thick walls – double stratigraphy of plasterboard – 50 mm structure with
40 mm rock wool for the 100 plasterboard and 75 mm structure with 70 mm rock wool for the 125 double slab plasterboard, for
achieve an overall sound insulation performance of:
• Rw=39 dB (-1;-4) for wall thickness 100 and 125 mm
• Rw=32 dB (-1;-2) for wall thickness 125 mm
Calculated on the area of the headwall 10.73 m².
Panel thickness 40 mm for finished wall 100 mm and 43 mm for finished 125 mm wall,
made with wooden perimeter frame and soundproofing material (for 39 dB version) that
has different layers, plated with 4 mm MDF.
