Scrigno will participate in Salone del Mobile from April 15 to 21, presenting Magnifico Fit, an exclusive counterframe that employs magnetic levitation to guarantee maximum smoothness and quiet. Scrigno will take part in the Elle Decor “Material Home” exhibition at Palazzo Bovara. The exhibition is curated by Elisa Ossino Studio (interior and exhibition design), Rossi Bianchi Lighting Design (lighting design), and Studio Antonio Perazzi (landscape design).
The exhibition represents a virtuous kind of synergy that resulted in a synaesthetic and sensorial itinerary that leads guests through rooms that investigate matter in all its forms. The “Elle Decor Material Home” journey happens through seven environments: Powder, Surfaces, Marble in Movies, Reflections, Soft, Organic, and Hues.
Scrigno is the protagonist in the Surfaces room, a kitchen made unique by a monolithic counter, tridimensional glazed stainless steel walls, and floor tiles laid in a herringbone pattern. The far wall features a wooden veneer hosting Scrigno’s Magnifico Fit, a double counterframe hiding a backlit wall and a metal bookshelf lacquered in the same tone as the door. The whole room is accurately lit by spherical lights carefully placed to create an unexpected setting. Contrasts and coexistence of different materials create original surfaces on sculptural geometries.
The door is painted in a matte brown neutral hue that warms the cold tones of stainless steel and creates an intense picturesque effect on the wall’s briar-root surface. The room's lighting is designed to create a dialogue between the various surfaces—stainless steel's smooth and reflective surface and the matte and absorbent surfaces of briar root. “The immersive journey provided by Elle Decor Material Home will transport guests through a series of rooms that offer different interpretations of matter in space, suggesting different employment opportunities,” says Elisa Ossino.
“We are delighted to have started this collaboration with Elle Decor during Design Week when Milan becomes the World Capital of Design,” says Fabrizio Campanella, Scrigno CEO. “Our presence in Elle Decor Material Home represents Scrigno’s commitment to innovation and quality, both of which are pillars that allow us to anticipate and satisfy the needs of a market that is constantly evolving. Scrigno will continue to invest in solutions that combine technology and durability, and we’ll continue to work to be protagonists in the world of interior design.”
